Let’s celebrate the book,
let’s celebrate beauty,
let’s have something to eat,
then take a cute selfie.
– Zoë Foster Blake, 2016
It’s not every day (or even every year) I lovingly inject a new book into the literary bloodstream. As such, I quite enjoy making a big fuss about it with some events, and if at possible, skywriting and ornately dressed elephants in a spectacular procession.
And so, we are doing some Amazinger Face events this July and August. They will be intimate, and fun, and I will chat about beauty and why I wanted to update the book, and there will be nibbles and bubbles (but not squibbles) and you can ask all the beauty questions you want, and I will quickly generate answers that sound vaguely correct and smile a lot so you believe me.
I will be signing copies of Amazinger Face, there will be a Go-To pop-up, (and possibly makeup pop-ups… TBC!) and we have had some delightful free tote bags made that I’m probably a bit too proud of considering they are just tote bags.
There aren’t many events and there are even fewer spaces at said events, so probably book your ticket soon, or don’t and forever feel a gaping, endless hole in your life.
Tickets for all events go on sale tomorrow,
Thursday July 7, at 9am.

Apologies to Perth and Adelaide and Darwin and Brisbane and Wagga and Tamworth. I love you no less than these event cities! I plead (guilty to) scheduling constraints.
To those who book a ticko and come along, I look so forward to seeing you.
To those who don’t book a ticko but do try to sneak in, I applaud your moxie, even if I don’t respect it.
ZFB x
See you in Canberra! Hopefully you can make this boring city more amazing-er. Annnnnd bring Hamish will you please 😀
So exciting! Would love to come! Just to confirm… tomorrow at 9am do i purchase tickets on your website or on the Langham website? (probably silly question)
Thanks!
Ok I just wet myself a tiny bit! I have recited pages of your book so much I just now say “My mate Zo recommends…” Everyone thinks I have this mate who is an expert in skincare.
Do you realise how cold Canberra is at the moment! Ditch them and come to Adelaide instead pleeeaaaasssseee
Might be useful for you to review a current globe so you know Tasmania is a state as well
Please come to Brisbane!!! Pretty pleaseeeee
Bit unclear how to book but for anyone else struggling I just emailed the venue and they got back to me with the details they needed 🙂
I emailed them first thing, and haven’t heard anything. Hope to hear soon.
I emailed at 9am and am yet to hear. I called the hotel directly and got a very short response that they would get back to the emails.. I really hope not to have missed out 🙁
I emailed to the hotel at 9am and received a short and blunt email a few hours later. They could sent a more polite email. Hope there is more book events
How do i book tickets to the
book event in melb?
Regards,
Ashlee
Has anyone heard back from Sydney Events?
Nope. Sent them an email bang on 9am and haven’t heard back.
I haven’t heard anything either.
It requires payment immediately aswell.
Wonder how that process works.
poorly organised booking thingamajig. no response from the Langham Sydney.
Melbourne was sold out in minuets 🙁 🙁 better luck to the other cities!! x
Please add more dates! Melbourne is all sold out.
Just curious as to how come I only got a Fruity Beauty email notification of a new blog post at 2:00pm today (7th), when it was posted last night?
I feel like signing up to the newsletter should be giving me prompt, first access to stuff like this…
I completely agree!!!
So you actually come to Canberra for once and the bloody thing is SOLD OUT! So disappointed 🙁
Hi everyone,
How can we book tickets for the Sydney event ?! A bit unclear on the booking process. I have received the newsletter today 7th July.. about one hour ago… If anyone can shed some light it would be great! 🙂
Big annoying to receive this email so late in the day about tickets that sold out hours ago! I though being on the mailing list would mean earlier access if anything, not later!
I emailed the Langham for the Sydney event bang on 9am and still no response! So frustrating!
Just have to say, so disappointed with the archaic process for booking that the Langham are using! Tickets went on sale at 9am, at which time I emailed them (as instructed) and I received an email back at 2pm with a PDF booking form attached that I had to print, fill out (including full credit card details) and scan again to attach to the email to make my booking, which I did as fast as I could. Unfortunately I received an email today to say that I wasn’t successful and thanks for trying.
Seems like a really crazy amount of effort. I understand that it’s popular and although I’m sad I’m missing out, it would have been easier to deal with if I hadn’t spent a good portion of my day trying to make the booking.
I hope I’m not coming across as a troll in any way here! Just wanted to offer some feedback. Big love, and I hope the events go well! I will look forward to following them on social media.
I’m halfway through the book so far and am loving every word. xx
Think you forgot Hobart too Zoe!
Can you pretty please make another date in CANBERRA? XXX
Hi Zoe,
I’ve had to cut my hair off for health reasons and love your not so mumsy do! I’ve ordered some of your suggested hair products however, would you consider doing a short video on how you do your hair each day?? It just looks so amazing and this honestly would be so helpful!! I’ve read how you dry it and brush it different ways but I still would love to see it in action and then how you get the finished look, please please please consider
Love
Lisa the mum who doesn’t want a daggy mumsy hair style!xo
